I have hit a wall.. have paid my full payments for 2 years no issue. Now I have a serious issue. Car timing belt has went and a few other issues. I need car for work. One month payment break would completely sort me out but without it I am all sorts of not going to be able to pay bills.

Can they give me this? Will it go to creditor vote?

Sorry to hear of your problems - you should be able to have a payment break without it going to creditors - give them a call next week.

Thanks for getting g back well payment t due on Wednesday and they closed on monday. What does a payment break entail? Can they confirm it over the phone?

I am sure they can - I had one for a boiler problem. All it means is that your payment will probably be tagged onto the end unless you can make it up over a few months.

We had one - just had to provide them with a price for your repairs preferably from your garage.

You can normally miss at least two payments without creditors needing to be contacted so a quick word with your IP should suffice. If your payment is made by direct debit it will have already been called but even so hopefully your IP can help.

Speak to your IP and if in doubt check the terms in your proposals and modifications to see how many payments you can miss without breaching the IVA.
