Good evening
Please can someone advice. We are completing our final year review (how time has flown by) and our circumstances have changed in that two of our adult children have returned home ages 21 and 23, both are paying board.
What is the housekeeping allowances we can put down. I know when I google they suggest £335 plus £80 per dependant child but they are not dependant and wasn't sure if the allowance was more or less.
Many thanks

Adult multiplier in 2015 was £105 Guideline ( £138 Max). Their board will count as income.

Many thanks. I have included their board in our income.
So am I reading it that I can include £105 per daughter ? Sorry if it is obvious to anyone reading.
Many thanks for getting back to quick

To be honest different IP's treat adult children in different ways ( and there are 101 scenarios). Assuming this is "Board & Lodge", were I an IP, I would offset the income from board with £105 (or thereabouts) per adult child as well as slightly increase the allowances for utilities accordingly.

It makes sense what you have said. I may ring them for direct advice.
Thanks again

I would definitely ring them as they will be able to work things out for you.
At the end of the day, the payment has to be affordable so I'm sure utt will work out fine for you.
Good luck!
