Hi there,

Just a quick question, on the 2nd October I had a creditors meeting and a successful full and final settlement meeting. I know it's been less than a month but I haven't yet received my completion certificate and I am still receiving statements from the companies that were involved in my Iva?

How long does this all take to stop? And how long will it take for these companies to know I have completed my Iva?
Also how long will it take for my name to come off the insolvency register?

some firms will take up to 6 months to close then it takes up to 3 months to come off the register.

Chase your IP up in writing.

As Lisa says -- a few firms take 6 months, most take a couple of months and a few take a few weeks to issue completuion paperwork. Your name will come off the Insolvency Register within three months of the issue of the certificate ( thoguh they say "within" it is more commonly three months to the day).

The IVA will remain on your credit files for 6 years from the start date, but should be, at leaset, marked "completed".
