Creditfix payment not taken + contact probs

Oh no not another CFX thread. Sorry!
Well today they should have taken the payment via CPA but no sign. Didn't last month either which was allegedly due to KBI data transfer issues so back the I contacted them by phone (quiick response) made manual payment and set up a new CPA.
Have tried phoning them this time but the wait was unworkably long and I gave up. Tried their chat. Again zero response after a substantial wait.
Anyone else having these probs? Are CFX having what is popularly referred to as a meltdown?
And, experts please, can you answer this one: if an IVA farmer fails to collect what's the next course of action and/or likely result?
PS belated happy new year y'all.

If you have bank details for them you could do a BACS transfer or, otherwise send a cheque via snail mail either recorded or registered post.

Looks like a bit of a meltdown !
If they do not collect it is deemed the same as you not paying. It is your responsibility to pay. Personally I do not like CPAs at all and would insist on paying by standing order with extra payments ( overtime etc) being dealt with manually -- that way I am in control. They have demonstrated that they cannot be trusted in this regard.

Gambled on catching them just before they closed and got lucky though the phones rang out and then went back to the music several times!
The advisor freely gave CFX's bank details for payment and was happy for an immediate payment to be made via faster payments and a standing order to be set up. No explanation for non-collection was offered and I didn't bother asking for one. I cancelled the CPA with my bank.
Your point about control was uppermost in my mind, Foggy.
Well that's today's problem solved.
It's concerning that people's IVAs could potentially fail as a result of this non-collection thing.

Got an automated receipt Email from CFX today so all good.
However the email asking them to confirm sort code and a/c detail remains unanswered and unread, They don't do emails do they?

Well credit where credit is due if you'll pardon the pun, but CFX have been on the money (another pun) recently and answered a query about extra earnings very clearly and promptly by email plus dealt with a CPA/Standing order prob over the phone very quickly too. I feared they might be a nightmare to deal with but it's looking OK right now.

Good news -- keep a hold of that person's email address
