Silly question that really just comes down to saving my own embarrassment but one of my creditors is shawbrook bank who supplied a loan for dental work . I am wondering whether during the process of an IVA , will my dental surgery get notified at all as they were the intermediary ?

If they are a creditor they will have to be informed and also vote at your creditor meeting.

I doubt your dentist will be told - just the bank.

The loan (and the IVA) is between you and the bank -- your dentist should not be informed.

I agree. The financial contract is between you and the bank. I doubt there is anything in the agreements between the parties which entitles the dentist to be informed and therefore it may be viewed as a Data Protection breach if it was disclosed to them. Besides, I'm sure your dentist wouldn't be interested anyway.
