So I saw Martin Lewis the other day and he was saying that if you didn’t earn over the 21k mark in a tax year then you are due a refund of the student loan u pain in that year. So in 2010-2011 I went on maternity in July and wouldn’t have earned over the threshold I reckon I’m owed just over the £500 mark which would mean that I’d have to declare it as per my Iva T&C’s....do you think I can ask the student loan people of only refund me a portion and just stick the rest to repaying my student loan? So if I ask for £490 back I can keep it?!

I wouldn't have thought you could keep it ... much the same as the £500 de minimis doesn't aply to PPI refunds, this refund will probably not be regarded as a windfall. Only your IP can tell which way he or she would look at it.

Hi guys,
Was this ever resolved? I'm in the same position. I emailed CreditFix earlier this week and haven't heard back yet, and have £581 coming into my bank from Student Loans. Will I have to give it straight to the IVA?
Thanks!

You need to keep pressurising CF for an answer.
