Can I get a few things on direct debit when in an IVA?

I am currently in an IVA. Am I allowed to get a few things on a monthly direct debit with disposable income that you can cancel at any time such as Netflix or a gym membership?

If you can fund these things out of your current allowances and the supplier doesn't credit check you (or is happy with your bad credit record) yes you can.

I doubt either of those things would be considered a reasonable expense unless either are needed for your job.

We were able to sign up for Netflix during our IVA. It was never an issue. As long as you can fund it within the given expenses.
An iVA really helped us learn to budget, plan ahead and make certain savings to finance something else.
