Hi Guys,
So due to a death in the family - my father has offered the full amount I stil owe (£5,880) as a F&F. I was told by CF that if the full amount was offered it would definitely be accepted? If this is true then why has my creditors meeting been adjourned - TWICE?! I keep being told they have 'not received any votes from my creditors' What does that mean exactly? And should I be worried? Thank you as always for your answers.

It has happened to a lot of people lately. CF are not good at getting full and finals sorted. Keep pestering them!

OK - I will do - thank you - they have just said it is now adjourned again until the 14th November (supposed to be on the 4th - then it went to 7th and now to 14th) but could it happen earlier if I keep pestering - or can they get annoyed with me!? Thank you so much

It sounds like it should be you getting annoyed. I agree with Kallis.

CF regularly "bodge" variation meetings -- recently because of un-agreed changes to their paperwork --- I suspect that there is something fundemental that they are doing incorrectly, but it is impossible to get a straight answer. However, they usually do swing it in the end !

I feel your pain bless ya. I’m too with CF and my full and final meeting was 21st September and only got approved this week after lots of stress and pestering by me to them. My advice would be to keep pestering them and try not to get too stressed although easy said then done. Good luck

Youre lucky though....mine got bumped a minimum of 28 days each time as thry have to give creditors that much notice!
i imagine someone knows the 'real' reason behind your delays but like foggy saud they never give a straight answer.
I did the shouting and angry but only thing it achieved was getting me more wound up. It didnt do a thing to spur them or creditors along.
They did get there in the end though amd we got our F&F accepted paid and had the certificate after just 2 weeks.
Hope it gets sorted soonfor you. Might be better for you to just say 's.o.d it' and let CF do what theyve got to do and wait. Easier said than done but they really dont think about us and the impact these delays have on us and pestering doesnt seem to make a difference!

Creditors will have put a hold on accounts, pending the outcome. They have probably just allowed the hold to drop off without renewing it --- most of it is down to automated processes !

Creditors will have put a hold on accounts, pending the outcome. They have probably just allowed the hold to drop off without renewing it --- most of it is down to automated processes !

You don't need to worry but you can either ignore calls or refuse to answer security questions.

Thank you very much for this - I feel reassured after reading your story. It is sad that we have to go through this (mentally) when ultimately we are trying to put things right. Yes - I will avoid getting wound up even more than I am but I am so pleased for you that you are sorted! Cannot wait to be in your position - thank you so much again.

By that you mean I do not need to make any contact with my creditors? I have told my IP and they said they will investigate but am now worried that will delay my F&F even more!! Could that be the case?

Ah - I see, so there is nothing I can do - I just ignore all contact from them?

You are still covered by your IVA so they can do nothing. Let your IP deal with this.
