Hello all,
I know it’s probably been asked million times but I hope you can help.
I asked freeman jones but the person I spoke to was as much use as a choc teapot.

The six year was sept 2018 Iva started in sept 2012. Last payment was March 2018
I got the compleation cert nov 2018

Looking at my credit report the creditors have removed the accounts off the report but I’ve got a creditor creation finance who have just marked it settled and there doesn’t look like they marked it as default.
I need to try and clear this soon as I need to look at moving house so will need to change mortgage.

Any advice greatly appreciated

Write to the Data Controller for Creation and ask them to remove the entry. I take you are off the Insolvency Register?

Read here: https://www.iva.co.uk/what-does-an-iva- ... dit-record

There is a template to get the entry defaulted at the correct date, it should then drop off at the 6th anniversary.

As has been said speak to Creations Data Controller and ask them to default the account on the same day as the IVA started. By doing so as you are over 6 years from the IVA start date the account will immediately fall off the credit reports and as you are now over 6 years from the start date there are some High Street Lenders who would be willing to lend.

Regards
