I’ve got a letter from Wilson Tarquin saying I might be able to get money back off my ppi but I was in a Iva and it finished three years ago if I got any money back would I have to pay to the Iva . I’ve signed the letter but they say I’ve got 14 days cooling period to cancel it should I cancel thanks for your help

I would cancel. Not because the money should be paid to the IVA, but because sometimes the money is paid direct to the IVA and the claims company do not get their cut --- they will look to you to pay them that out of your own pocket. In an ideal world the refund will be paid to them, they take their cut and transfer the balance to you to pay into the IVA --- but it does not always happen that way.

Have you told them that you had an IVA ? Mnay claims companies will not proceed, if this is the case, without a letter of no interest from the IP.
