10 yrs on and still contacted

I'm in the same situation where I completed my IVA 10 years ago (I have my completion certificate) and have managed to put the debt nightmare behind me and get on with my life, but I've now been contacted by First Dispute Management asking me to sign a Letter of Authority and fill in the accompanying questionnaire which I find quite intrusive so, my question is: Am I legally bound to sign the Letter of Authority and complete and return the questionnaire?
I'm worried that they will try to get more money out of me...

I assume it is all to do with PPI? If so it will not hurt you to sign it as you won't see any of the money, it will go to your creditors and will not affect you at all. They are all just trying to claim back as much as they can before the deadline in August.

They are not after getting money out of you -- simply claiming PPI and the like which does still belong to former creditors.
I returned my form, having added no further details, as I genuinely cannot recall any of them and told them to rely on the records they already have. I also amended the authorities to only apply to information relevant to the period up to, but not beyond, my completion date.

Thanks Foggy, that's a comforting point of view...

How did you go about amending the agreement? I have no problem with them investigating PPI during my IVA and before and would like to clearly state that.
On a sidenote, I think IVA's will be the next big miss selling adventure.

I simply struck through anything in their conditions relating to access to information after the date of completion and entered the date of completion as the end date. I then aded a clause stating that I only agreed to access to information up to the completion date.
I think your sidenote might be correct.
