Good afternoon. I have a small amount for pet care included in my expenditure allowances, do you think it would be allowed if I set up a direct debit for pet insurance out of this allowance to cover any future veterinary visits/procedures which are increasing every year?

I don't see why not - it is a sensible precaution.

I had insurance for all of my dogs during the IVA.

If you can afford it yes - sensible to have it ...

I had allowances for a cat and a dog in my IVA. The cat actually lived next door but used to come round for food so technically was mine - I fed him. Insurance was allowed in the IVA.

Just got Oscars renewal through and its up to £59 an month(3 year old lab, no claims).

Thats more than both cars and the home and contents insurance added together!!!

Petplan taking advantage as I really dont want to shop around, yet I do with all other insurances!

I love Petplan - they paid for dental treatment for all of my dogs.
