I've just started a new job and the company have a business credit card. They want me as an additional card holder. Now I'm worried sick....I had to fill in a form with my name and address but the form didnt mention doing an actual credit check it Just said they may look at my credit file to confirm my identity. Any advice please I'm obviously worried it wont be processed and I'll look lile an idiot to my new employer.

We have had members who have been added to a company credit card with no issues. As they have said, they may do an identity check, but not a credit check as you are not applying for credit.

On the form it did ask what limit of credit I should be given etc that's what makes me worried.
I hope they don't turn around and say they don't want me to do the job anymore.

They asked for a credit limit on the card and that is whats worried me.

Hi Disneygal
My company gave me a credit card with a limit of £20000 and I was feeling exactly like you are but everything was ok and had no issues. I called Iva company and they explained it is not credit as the bill is actually paid by the company I worked for . Give your IVA company a call and explain and you will be fine
