Hi all

I paid my final payment into my IVA in May and I await my completion certificate. I want to start building my credit history back up asap and would like to apply for a Vanquis credit card. Can anyone advise if this is sensible to do before I get my completion certificate or should I wait ? I just did an eligibility checker on MSE and it came back with 95% chance my application would be successful. Any advice would be welcome.

Until you get the completion certificate you are bound by the terms of the IVA including getting credit so you need to wait.
