Hi everyone.

Haven’t been on for a while as life is returning back to normal after completition !! We have to move in April to another rental accommodation and it’s now getting me worried about what’s going to happen? My IVA is completed (full and final ) and my partners is active and going well. Is this going to seriously affect us when we move ? We will have a deposit ready to go etc and both in steady jobs completely unaffected by Covid etc. We have two kids so I’m
Naturally worried about being able to keep a roof over their heads once we have to
Move . Any advice would be great .

If you go through agents be upfront, before paying the credit check fees, etc. They may still consider you, maybe after referring to the landlord. Otherwise rent privately (small ads etc) with landlords who usually do not credit check ( but will require references).

My landlord has already said he will write me glowing references as I made Him aware of our situation a few years back when all this was happening and we never missed a payment during it. So maybe that would be enough to sneak us through the door so to speak ?

I doubt the bank will help. It will be down to landlords and possible credit checks.
