I HAVE some credit card debt around £25000 i an doing iva with Curtis Faraday . is it a genune campany

They are a genuine company, as far as I can tell. But, they will not actually do the IVA --- they are introducers, who will put together all of your details and pass them on to another firm to do the IVA --- and it might be a firm you would not wish to go with. Far better to find out which firms they intend to use and research that firm, or, do some research and go direct to a firm that provides the IVAs.

A worrying prospect ahead --- but I am concerned that the article didn't mention that the charities, in particular StepChange, they refer to also charge the same as they have quoted for running an IVA !
