I am chasing an outstanding ppi claim from HSBC who require a "Not interested in funds" certificate from an insolvency practitioner. We had an Iva with Debt Free Direct which finished in 2017. We have been sent a notice of completion from the supervisor who states that they cease to act as the supervisor for the Iva. As Debt free Direct no longer exist who can we obtain such a document from?

Debt Free Direct cases were taken over by Aperture in September 2017 --- they would not have transferred legacy ( closed) cases, but, as you dates are close, might be dealing with yours. Aperture have a Trusts department which deals with legacy cases and they DO usually want PPI retained for the creditors, so might not issue the letter you are seeking.
