Hi guys!

We did an early settlement on our IVA but it will still be on our credit file for another 2 1/2 years.

We really want to try and remortgage to add on our ‘help to buy’ loan when we bought our house as we are just paying interest on it and it will never be paid off!

Has anyone managed to remortgage with an IVA on their credit file at a reasonable rate??

It can, and, indeed, has been done. Obviously availability and rates improve as time passes and that IVA drops off the credit files.
