Meeting on 20th

Hi All,

So I have my meeting on 20th of this month. I'm worried about them no accepting as I have around £200 of outgoings in petcare (I have 2 dogs, one is paralysed and requires a special diet and a lot of vets visits, I have insurance but have to pay and £80 excess for every visit over that, I can't insure elsewhere because of pre existing conditions, IP is aware of this.)
I will be paying 0.48p to £1 to creditors, at a total of £344 a month which is going to be really tough, however I have no one to blame but myself.
How long after a meeting do you find out if you have been accepted? Also it said on my proposal that I will have 60 days to make my first payment - however I filled in my bank details for them to take payment on the first of every month. Would I be able to ask them to take this on 1st of November? As I haven't had a chance to build up any savings for Christmas or birthdays as of yet.

TIA

A dividend of 41p in the £ is actually a very healthy return on an IVA, so should be looked at seriously. Discuss the first payment date with your IP -- I would hope that he will try to accommodate you, as far as he / she is able.

Agree with Foggy and I know where you are coming from with vets bills! Good luck with your meeting. Hopefully you will find out shortly afterwards.

are you making any payments to your debts at the moment? Because you could think about cancelling those this month which will give you a bit of savings.
