I have recently left my job as a security manager in the NHS because of Stress at Work following a serious assault in 2006, im still recieving treatment for my injuries and also recieve Industrial Injuries benefit as im assessed as 20% disabled im six months into my IVA my supervisor has suspended my payments until 01 November hopefully by then i will have found another job. Im a single person and im going to relocate to the East Midlands and stay with a friend as i simply cannot afford to rent in london. I am confident of securing employment however not at my former salary is the answer simply that i will be made bankrupt if i cannot make the origional payment based on my salary at that time.

Thanks,

Ken

Hi Ken
Your IP will re assess your disposible income.Although your income may drop so may your living expenses and you may still be able to continue with the IVA,even at a reduces rate.
No one wants your IVA to fail,it is in everyones interest[yours, your creditors and your IP's] for it to succeed
