Good morning, have watched this forum for a while now, have debts of £30,000 mainly due to debt escalation , robbing Peter to pay Paul etc. Realised enough was enough just before Christmas, took a responsible attitude to my debts and entered into a debt management plan with the Debt Support Company. Had a good response from most of my creditors, apart from HSBC, very aggressive and not accepting anything really. Now petitioning for an IVA, could afford £400 per month, waiting to get proposal drawn up at the moment.Would like to sleep properly again and not have this terrible feeling of sadness, my family keep me on the straight and narrow. Will never have another credit card again.

Have just had a final demand from HSBC in relation to a credit card, are debt collectors like;ly to cal at the house whilst the IVA is being petitioned? Hoping and praying all goes well.
