hi - i have been viewing this site for a few months now and what a great bunch of people and such a big help to me it has been!!!
we are about 145 thousand in debt and were at our wits end but melanies team have taken over everything for us since december and our file is now complete
not sure when our creditors meeting is but should be in about 3 -4 weeks.
wish us luck as our main creditor is northern rock.
thankyou again to all you lovely people who have helped me and my hubby just by reading this site over the last few months - you are the best

Hi Barbara, and welcome to the forum. Glad you like the forum, it gave me great support through the hard times too. Everyone on here is fantastic, and helps and supports people who are struggling to cope. Rest asured that you are in good hands with melanie and her team, and if anyone can sort out debt problems its them. Keep posting and let us know how you get on. I KNEW WE COULD NOT CARRY ON THE WAY WE WERE AND AM JUST SO RELIEVED TO HAVE FOUND A LOVELY PROFFESSIONAL TEAM, NON JUDGEMENTAL WH
SEEMS TO HAVE TAKEN THE BURDEN OFF US, AM APPREHENSIVE ABOUT THE OUTCOME OF THE CREDITORS MEETING JUST KEEPIN EVERYTHIN CROSSED!

Hi Barbara and welcome.
All the very best to you and your husband. It shows how just reading the posts helps a lot of people, I was the same, never wrote a word until after my meeting but such a huge support, just being able to read and know others felt the same.
All the best for your meeting, you have a fantastic Ip and team working for you, and keep posting to let us know how things are going.

Hi,
Just wanted to wish you loads of luck.
I too have only just found this site - and it is firmly set in my favourites now!
Just to reassure you - we have about 127,000 in debts, with Northern Rock being the main one (over 20%), and they voted yes at the creditors meeting on Monday (we got accepted), so I'm sure you will be fine.

if anyone is reading this and is worrying not knowing which way to turn, please dont delay any longer. i buried my head through sham but not one person has been judgemntal, only supportive and i already feel like a weight has gone off my shoulders - so if you are feeling the way i was pick up the phone and get some proffessional advice as it will be the best thing you ever do!
Thats good news about northern rock - hope they vote in our favour too.
