Hi Everyone
I have been reading lots of posts about Income and Expenditure Spreadsheets and I was wondering if there was a template for this.
We have been trying whilst waiting for our IVA to go through to budget for everything that was put on our expenditure sheet when we initially applied for our IVA.
I am writing everything down in a book and we are putting money aside for car tax and other things (it is a scary thought knowing that you can no longer put things on credit cards-but a good feeling too!)
Is doing this on a spreadsheet easier?
Has anyone got any advice [?]

Hi sblack
the spreadsheet method is much easier as you can clearly see your income and if your expenses are more you can tweak the expenditure so it fits.
Happy to email a spreadsheet to you no problems at all - my web address is
www.revivauk.com and you can just fill in the contact page.
Happy to help

And I will send you an electronic copy of your income and expenditure summary which supports your IVA, so that you can add monthly actual columns next to the projected figures and therefore compare your results.

no problem I will send one over when I am at my desk. I actually used it to do my own I&E ( or rather my wife did) and now I don't go to Costa Coffee quite as much !!!!

Thanks Paul ... I would have thought that it might give you more time to sit and drink coffee!

Hi,
I keep all the details of our I&E on an excel spreadsheet together with a list of our monthly contributions and 50% bonus contributions so i can keep track of what we have managed to pay off but for budgeting purposes I have found it easier to have several very basic bank accounts (with internet banking & electron card/bank card) to keep various segments of our budget separate - ie we have an Abbey account for everything to do with the car, a Halifax one for the food & housekeeping etc. So far it has been the best thing to helping us keep track of our budget and actually mamange to save some money as for the first bit of our IVA we kept it all in one account and never had anything left at the end of the month
At the end of the day everyone works differently and you have to do what is easiest for you!

I think that was the problem Soulgrowth... one coffee led to another, and his wife found out...[:D] [:D][:D]
