Hello

I've received the paperwork from my IP regarding my first year review (can't believe I've been in an IVA for a year already).

They've asked for my amended income and expenditure, and proof thereof. If I increase each amount by say £5-£10 only (roughly the extra that I'm now spending extra) do I really need to provide proof or as they are only small amounts will they just be accepted.

They already know, through sending my payslips each quarter that I received a payrise a couple of months ago, but now just wondering how I go about the 12 month review.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Hi Rachel,

Obviously fill in your revised income and expenditure form taking into account any necessary rises in gas/electric/council tax/ petrol & food etc. I suspect that if the increases are nominal then you won't need to provide proof but if they have asked for up from then it might be an idea to copy your council tax bill etc.

When we had our first review last year. We submitted our I&E and then we were asked on specific items to submit proof of significant increases in our I &E(ie my car insurance and contents insurance had shot up) and it was all accepted without any problems.

Hope that helps and congrats on reaching your first year!

Lou

Just send them a copy of your annual Council Tax bill by way of reference.
