I have just had an increase in my salary. when will i have to increase my payments to iva.I am hoping to move to a new long term rented flat which is going to cost more than i am paying now but not more than the rent i was paying at start of iva which the creditors originally approved. Do i have to get permision from IP first. I am worried I may lose the flat if i have to wait for a decision. I tried phoning but was told by the call centre worker that i have to request decisions in writing.its so frustrating not being able to get a decision over the phone

I would advise your IP of your salary increase, but tell them that you anticipate that the majority of this will be absorbed by higher rental payments.

If I were your IP I would probably agree to this, but you do need to get a decicision from your own firm.
