I`ve been in my present home which is privately rented for 12 years.
Unfortunately, my landlords have now decided to sell the house, and I`ve been given the statutory 2 months notice to vacate the home.
I`ve always been up to date with my rent, utilities, council tax and so on. But, my question is this - Will my IVA cause a problem when an agent carries out credit checks on me when I find alternative suitable accomodation? I don`t intend paying out any more than I am at present on rent, so that in itself shouldn`t be a problem. It`s just how I`d be viewed in my application.
