HI, i've been with debtmatters and lost my job but my payments were'nt reduced even though i informed debtmatters, i am still unemployed and paying the originally agreed rate is this right? many thanks

You will probably find that things will change because Debtmatters have sold their IVA book. Have you not received a letter from them informing you ?
You will be transferred to either Payplan or Grant Thornton. I have been transferred to GT but still await the letter. DM were never that great at communication before the sale so I would keep an eye on the mail over the next few days and then contact your new IP.

Nothing with the IVA should change, apart from your IP.
I have to ask......how are you managing your payments whilst unemployed?
I would ring and ask to speak to a supervisor about this and not just an employee because surely if you are not working you wouldnt be able to afford the IVA.
Perhaps you could be given a payment break while you look for employment?
