ive been in an iva now 4 2 years with freeman jones limited i got a letter through the post last week from the iva council about i could of been miss sold my iva as im not a home owner or have any assets or equity to protect in the letter to it says if you hav been mis sold an iva then you will no longer be required to pay monthly payments what does this mean and what should i do in my situation ring them so they can have a look into my iva to see if i hav been miss sold it

Ignore it w898, they seem to be targeting randomly. There's been loads on the forum about them lately, try a search of the forum and have a look,

What this means is that the IVA Council have searched the DTI registry and come up with your name. They know absolutely nothing about your circumstances and are, frankly, making wild uncorroborated statements designed to drum up business for themselves.
If you are happy with your IVA, shred the letter. If you are unhappy. speak to Freeman Jones, not these people.
Take a look at the home page of
www.insolvencu.gov uk to see what the DTI say about them
