Just think if it snows that much that the kids can go out and play for hours in it -its a free entertainment that over a bank holiday period will certainly help to save some pennies! My problem is I have no kids, all my friends are meeting at the pub at lunchtime for drinks which I know will end in a takeway and before you know it £50-£75 is spent - guess I'll be staying in then with a duster and the hoover for comfort!

Yeap, I'm in Sunderland too and it's a lovely bright morning, absolutely freeeezinnnnnn tho!!! (hubby told me when he walked our dog at 7 this morning) No money eva, get your wellies on and get out in that snow!!! lol.
Call me stupid but I love it when it snows, it looks so pure and clean-well until it turns to slush then freezes over and creates a death trap-scrap that, I hate snow!!!! lol

Happy Easter to you all, beans on toast in a min for my breakfast and then it's a nice long walk with dog, at least 5 miles! He loves it, I love it and it's all free. Back to housework and TV as all my plans have gone to pot, due to weather.

Eva, where are you? I am in the Midlands and its bright skies here, have I got it to come? Its soooo windy, its quite frightening, there is nothing to brace it, cos my house backs on to nowhere, the one fence panel is already down.

Hiya Ang, hubby likes the seaside, I prefer the country, I'd love to live at Stanhope, maybe if we win the lottery!!!! The thought of being holed up and snowed in is like the best thing I could think of- providing we had plenty of food, fuel and fine wine(cheap plonk would do!!)I have a fear of the sea, don't like boats or walking over bridges, I think I drowned in a former life...... odd cos I'm a piscean and I'm supposed to be comfortable with water!!!!
