hello
Ive been in my iva since 2005 and so far i have had no problems.
To day the car decided not to work, ive had some one look at it and they said it would be about £300 to fix.
Do you think i would be able to miss the next payment? the payment is due out on the 1st of the mth, would it be to late?
thanks trevspi

I am sure that your IP will allow this, but do you have a car maintenance allowance which you ought to have been saving up to meet this expenditure?

Thanks for getting back.
I do save some money for the basic things, but you think that the car will stop running
thanks

Our car broke down last week (head gasket went boom ) it was going to cost £600 to fix , and as we have only been in iva for 1 month we hadnt accumulated enough money to fix it . I then stated to panic as hubby needs car for work so it isnt an option we need a car . As posted before old car went to scrap yard where we got £180 to weigh it in ,cashed in the tax remaining £80 and bought car off ebay for £260 with 4 months tax left.So good deal all in all. m reg mondeo is working a treat.
