Hi
I am a British scientist working in the uk at present, but my aim is to emigrate to australia within a few years - i wondered if an IVA or bankruptsy would affect my ability to get a visa and in the future residency in australia.

Hi georgina and welcome to the forum

It is something to really check out with Australia House, but my gut feeling is that they will not wear an application from an undischarged bankrupt, but if you are discharged or in an IVA then this will be fine.
