Yesterday I had a phone call froom Joanne who is helping us with rob's bankrupcy. She went through the forms with me and asked me questions. A draft copy will be in the post and I have to fill in the blanks such as loan account numbers, pension numbers etc. I have to say it has been such a relief to have someone to guide us through this daunting process.
Once I have filled in the blanks and sent it back, it will be checked then a final copy sent back to me and then my husband can make an appointment with the court.
I must say that now the decision has been made and the ball is rolling we both feel more at ease knowing that the problems can be solved.
Hope you are all ok and that tomorrow is a brighter day for us all.

hiya no its a joanne from nottingham, the forms just turned up in the post so will go through them with rob on saturday then post straight back.
Quick question - where it says list bank accounts had in last two years, we had a joint one that since dec is now in just my name, I will obviously list it but will it mean I will lose it as it is my bank account only now.
Thanks for your support guys

Obviously list it but provide a copy of pre and post transfer of ownership of the account and the OR should leave it alone.
It may well also make sense to have some evidence of how much or little was in the account at the time of transfer so as to satisfy the OR right from the start that all was above board.

thankyou, there was nothing untoward going on , he opened his own with barclays and then removed his name from the joint account so we therefore had an account each.
Now his wages and my family tax credits go in there, and all the dd, rent etc go out from the acount. I am just worries that I will end up losing my account which is not overdrawn or anything.

sorry to be thick but what do you mean by pr and post ownership, nothing really changed only the fact that his name was removed. The account has kept running the same.

Can't see you will have a problem Jayne. Clearly the OR will have questions about your husbands financial dealings in the recent past and if you have prepared for these it will make the process that bit easier. Belt and braces.

Yes, if the November statement shows the account to be joint and if the December statement shows it to be in your sole name that will be good evidence of the transfer given that the account number will be the same.
Hope this makes sense
