Dear Mr ................,

We have been notified that your IVA has been approved.

Please do not use your egg card and if you still have your card please destroy it.

Under the terms of your credit card arrangement we now require payment from you of the full ammount that you owe us. The balance on your account stands at £608.53. We will be liaising with your appointed Insolvency Practioner for payment of this sum. However we reserve the right to contact you regarding this matter should we require further information.

We will be notifying the credit reference agencies of your default.

*****HELP******

I thought this nightmare ended on the IVA approval? What do I do now?

The letter is a standard one, and merely means that they accept that the IVA has been accepted and that they will laise with your IP over future dividend payments.

Although they say that they can contact you, this rarely (if ever) happens.

I received the same letter yesterday. Didn't think there was anything to worry about in it as it does say they will now be dealing with IP. Only thing I thought was odd is the amount they say is o/s - it's nearly £200 less than they claimed at creditors meeting!!!!!! What happens about that? Do I need to contact IP? I think stupidly I filed the letter under "b" for bin.

Just out of curiosity, how have Egg been voting? They are one of our creditors.

They are very supportive, and are represented by Grant Thornton, who propose IVAs of their own so are very knowledgeable and fair.

Thanks everyone, we owe about 7K to them and have never had any phone calls, just a couple of letters.
