Just a quick question. Our IVA has been running for a year now but we have only just been sent an RX1 form to sign, our IP has not sent us one before and although it has their name etc on,no boxes have been ticked etc and they have not explained what the form is. Any good reasons as to why they have left it a year, we didn't even know anything about it before or that we had to complete one. Any advice please.

Sometimes these things do get overlooked, and the form is really just a formality to stop you disposing of your property without your IP's knowledge, which is filed against your property title at H M Land Registry. Your IP should have clearly advised you of this omission, and also talked you throught the nature and implications of signing the form, so I suggest you give them a ring tomorrow and talk it through.
