Hi All,
I am not after more good luck messages for Monday as you have all kindly given me loads.
I am just after the 'what if' option......as in what if it is refused, and I know I have to be positive, but I need to know what I do next if it is rejected.
BR is not an option I want, so is there someone on here I can speak to/e-mail for my next plan (B!). I just want to be prepared, as I know if it is refused I am against time in keeping the wolves from my door!
I am off to the Q final FA cup tie tomorrow, so hopefully that will keep my mind off things - well it will if we win (and no I am not a Man U fan!). Wish us luck!

Hi Kal, which company is dealing with your IVA?

McCambridge Duffy.
They say they are confident, but as we all know, each case is different.
My biggest concern is Northern Rock - they hold a very large percentage, and if they say no, well not much room for anyone else to either.
McCambridge Duffy have said that NR have been very accommodating, and that they were concerenced at first, but have said that it is them that have said we have been good customers etc (never defaulting), so fingers crossed they go with that on the day.

Kal, I was exactly the same as you, before my meeting. I just thought if my IVA wasn't accepted, then I would have to do a DMP, because bankruptcy wasn't an option for me either. If it is rejected, then you can do a DMP, then go for another IVA in a few months. I think that McCambridge Duffy must be confident that it will be accepted to put the proposal forward, so try not to worry, I'm sure everything will go through. How much is the debt, and how much are you offering?

The debt is 127,000 in total (me and husband) - bet your thinking wow, that is alot!
I think we are offering over 35p in the pound - which I was worried was too low, but reading about it doesn't sound it.
We were in a DMP, we didn't have half of what we owed in the plan though, but obviously in the IVA it is all included.
The only thing with the DMP is how long it will take us, and will the creditors stay off your back for that long.
Also we are now 1-2 months in arrears, so would have to find that.
Oh god all these 'what if's!!!
I kinda don't want Monday to come round as it will all become reality - does that make sense.
On the other hand - IF (and I don't like to say that too loudly!) it is accepted, then it is like my life will be back on track and I can breathe again (and answer that phone!).

Kal, I know this is a worrying time, as I've been there too, but try to stay positive. The worse thing that could happen is that you would have to start a DMP again, until another proposal was done. I think that yours has every chance of being accepted, as with bankrupcy, the creditors wouldn't get anything, and they know that. Try to keep busy, and positive, and I'm sure you will be fine. What time is your meeting on Monday?

Aw thanks - it helps to know all of you have been thought it (sorry that sounds like I am glad you have been through it - you know what I mean!).
My meeting is at 1045 and 1100 - although they did say it 'stays open' till 4 - do I have to wait all day.
I'll be a nervous wreck!
I work at home, so will be here - but I've told them I am at the dentist so that I can answer the phone should I need to.
McCambridge D said I may get an e-mail with some modifications, leading up to Monday, but not had any yet.
I agree - what use would BR be to my creditors - but until they say Yes, then I will worry!
Thanks for your kind words - means a lot.
