Hi all, hope you're well,
Have received a letter from HSBC this morning..
Following receipt of the acceptance of your IVA your accounts have been frozen.
Please send back destroyed chq books. cards etc..
We are obliged to serve demand on you for the full amount of your indebtedness which is attached. No further action is required by you in relation to this demand ???
Is this just a formality?
Thanks,
Kitty

They are obliged to do this yes - once your IVA is agreed you have then defaulted on the terms so they will issue a default notice but cannot do this until they have made demand for full payment.

Forward the letter to your IP and will probably be the last one you get from them.
