I have an approved payment break for last year and I just received a copy of my draft variatoin report. What concerns me is that in proposed new variation I am now paying £500 for a Variation Meeting Fee and VAT & Disbursements go up by £497 from £768 in the original proposal to £1265 in the Proposed varitation.
Could someone explain to me way I am paying £500 for a meeting and what the VAT & Disbursements cost is about and why has it gone up.
Thanks.

I believe that you always have to pay for a variation meeting, but not sure about the VAT and disbursments though.
One of the professionals will be able to answer the question more fully for you.

It is probably the VAT on top of the variation fee. My firm only charge at present £250 to do a variation - who are you with?

Hubby's IP wanted to charge us £700 for a variation [:0] I refused to pay this so they did it for free!!!
Pity there wasn't a set fee across the board.

Just had a word with my IP and they said I should not worry as I am not paying for it but the Creditors. Really though this is £997 somebody else will pay for it.

That's a bit of good news then.
Does seem a lot of money though.

I've deleted your other thread hope, as it was a duplicate of this one.
