Hi not posted for a while but thought I would up date you all on my progress so far. I've got 8 payments of £410 and 1 x £240....then it's over!! I must say this forum is fab and I read it at least once a week.
I just can't wait until my last payment flies out of my account on Tues 28th Feb 2012. Here's hoping all goes well until then. Lots has happened along the way, a couple of changes of bf's, my died and I've started my Masters in Clinical Research. So good and bad things really but I'm happy today that I'm into single figures re:payments.
Have a good bank holiday weekend for those who are luckily enough to have a few days off...I have and I'm chilling out with making a nice cheap soup as I'm on weightwatchers.
X

Oh actually I made a mistake...I've only had one bf since the IVA started!!! How could I forget the darkest days of a relationship break up PRIOR to my IVA starting. It was a new start for me and my present bf was fantastic when I plucked up enough courage to tell him 3 months into the start of our relationship back in 2008. Guess my memory is failing me...I must be getting old...x

I know the feeling!! its good, although feels like its dragging a bit! My last payment is the day after yours, oh ive not had any Bf's, just the one Gf on and off lol!!
Ive started saving a few bits towards christmas this year, would be nice to have some cash around so i can enjoy the couple of days off work, being on call etc...

Oh wow the day after me....!! Yes sometimes it does feel like it's dragging but everyone around me is excited too so they give me the boost I need when I'm a bit fed up. One year I only bought my son a selection box....how sad is that! My family made up for it though and he was fine. My son is 18 soon and I've giving him a cheap party in the garden...drinks and bbq.

My daughter is 18 in October and I'm dreading it, luckily she knows I'm in an IVA but it won't stop me feeling guilty x

My idea of hell after camping!
It has to be a B&B in this country (en suite) at the very least and preferably somewhere hot, fully inclusive!

Lol Biking holiday, ive tried to get away with those when she paid for the trips! we went to lanzarote back in march and i managed a day biking, she wasn't impressed but was happy with the cocktails after, while i slept on the beach absolutely worn out!!
I have tried to get her to consider canada or lake garda as a destination, but i get the feeling its wedding bells she is after or an engagement ring at least next year, she has suffered with me over the years!!
