Hi would just like to thank Karol and all the staff at GT for getting through our variation meeting.

GT often have bad press on here, esp for customer service. I have first hand experience of being unable to get through to GT via e-mail or phone, but Karol who posts on here has always either replied herself of had someone from GT to contact me the same day.

My advise to all GT customers on here is to contact Karol if they are stuggling to get through to GT.

We started our IVA with B&E who where just plain awful, GT have been very understanding with us and helpful, they agreed a payment break when my father died suddenly last summer which was a massive weight of my shoulders not having to worry about paying for the flowers etc etc .

Im am relieved and really pleased to say that in our case we have just had our variation accepted by the creditors and our payments have been reduced from £679 to £130 per month, due to loss of earnings, increased cost of living and my daughters medical condtion which requires a special diet. This has been a massive weight of our shoulders. We have to pay for an extra year, but thats a much better option than our iva failing and having to go bankrupt.

We would also like to thank all the experts/moderators who have also helped with some good advise.

This forum is a great resource for all those in or thinking about an IVA.

Thanks

That is very good news and very encouraging as I have a variation meeting with GT next month due to being made redundant and having to go self employed and the death of my husband just before Christmas.
