So had a letter today confirming I have only 2 more payments left! August 8th 2012 is my final payment date and I am amazed how quick the 5 years have gone.
I really can not wait for that final payment to be taken. 2012 is turning out to be a massive year for me with some massive changes and finishing my IVA is the biggest step for me.

Am I the only one that thinks that first month after the last payment the extra money I will have should be used for a treat to myself lol?

Absolutely, after your final payment, confirm your company have received your money and request permission to cancel your standing order/direct debit. The next month is definately treat time... go for it, after 5 years in an IVA you certainly deserve it.

Well done, and I would say a massive treat is in order! Debt free at last. I am so jealous!!!!
