Evening all.
I used to be a regular poster on here (dand) but forgot my login details...
I took an iva out in 2009 as I owed 45k and couldn't keep my head above water.
I took the advice on this forum, get help, ignore calls fro creditors, get approved and make the payments etc.
After 5 years I completed and got my completion cert.
2 years later after working hard building my credit score I managed to buy my dream house with my family for a huge amount t of money.
Since then my credit rating is 990 with experian and I have a £100k car on finance, a 1/2 million pound house, I'm a private pilot and I own a boat and caravan.
Moral is you have to work hard at it, but the light is definitely at the end of the tunnel for everyone.
