Hi Guys. Just to let my forum family know that I've finally received my Completion Certificate from Payplan!! [:D]

My Case Officer emailed to confirm it last night, and said it would be put in the post today. I held off telling you - as I wanted to see it for myself - to believe it's all finally over!! Anyway, she offered to email it to me, and I've just printed it off!! [:D][:D]

I feel that I can finally exhale after 4 long years...

My IVA journey started in March 2009, at a very difficult and traumatic time for me and my family. In March 2012, I found a new family - this forum. Words cannot really encapsulate how I feel being part of this forum. You have carried me through all the highs and lows during the past 12 months. I've ranted and raved; celebrated; learned and shared knowledge/experience, but most of all, I've always remained 'me' - without any fear of being ignored, dismissed or judged, and for that, I thank you all for your kindness, patience, honesty and openness. This is an amazing forum with amazing people.

I have to 'give props' to Stephanie Hill at Payplan, who has been my most recent CO. As an individual working within a very large organisation, she has put the 'human face'to it. She always listened patiently to me even at times when I was very belligerent through sheer frustration at times, and I know for a fact that she worked her a**e off to get my CC to me as quickly as she able to. Absolute respect to her.[:)]

I sincerely want this post to give others hope that they too will receive their CC's very soon.[:)]

Thanks both. The best thing so far has been the reaction of my friends and parents - who have supported me every step of the way. To be honest - they're probably glad to hear the last of "How much longer do I have to wait for my ¬$@*"£# completion certificate!!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!

It's a great feeling to be finished, it's amazing how much you learn on the IVA about how to manage money/budget/make do.

It's nice to get some treats back when you have finished, I managed to get a new car and mortgage with the monthly savings

Thanks mattyboy. I wish I could have a treat. My income went from £30k+ to benefits. Redundancy package now run out after a year, and still too ill to work. Next big hurdle = fight to keep my home, but I'll hand the keys back rather than run up mortgage arrears. No point in that, as I would have been better off going bankrupt in the first place!! x
