Here we go, my mind working overtime when I should be working on my assignment[:I]

If hubby does end up applying for BR, is there a possibility he could be rejected?

Also, the car we recently leased (its in both our names), will we be able to keep the car?

Finally ( for now [:)]) should I be posting BR questions on the BR site??? Maybe I should have asked that first!

xx

Don't worry which site you post on - I am sure the experts will answer you soon. Not sure re the lease agreement within bankruptcy - what does your lease agreement say from the company - you may want to transfer it solely into your name before the bankruptcy hearing takes place for your husband, although the OR might still look at this.

Carry on posting here Julie!

I can't see your hubby being refused BR - he has tried an IVA, and if you can't afford it and a variation was rejected it's not his fault.

I agree with Lulu that maybe you should transfer the lease to your name - not so much because of the OR, but in case the leasing company won't let hubby lease due to being BR.

However, fingers crossed none of the above is necessary, and good luck for tomorrow xxx

Thanks both - the car leasing company are aware of the IVA. I'll see about getting the car transferred to my name.

Ah thanks Jan...don't be too nice to me, I'm fragile tonight and quite tearful [:I]

You can't get rid of me, I would have ended up posting on both sites [:D]

I didn't want to upset you moderators by posting incorrectly.[:)]

We need to find out why the Co-op are rejecting. Can your IP throw any light on this yet? If you are coming into the office to see me on Friday, we can give Matthew a call together if you like.

Hi - I posted on the other thread, sorry.

Co-op rejected, because the reduced proposal was too low. Basically they want us to decrease our expenditure and increase our return, which is impossible.

Melanie - my meeting on Friday should be done and dusted by 12.30, if you're not too busy I'll come over to you. I am in Cardiff today and tomorrow also but unsure what time meetings will finish.

Thanks as ever for your support xx

Hi Karen,

We are using Duncton, but Melanie gave us the contact details of a broker, who done all the research for us and found the best deal for us.

Hope this helps

Julie
