I don't blame you - I had a similar call with MBNA. They kept phoning me at work and saying they had to take a payment so I told them that I had been disciplined for personal calls (I hadn't really) and that if they kept ringing me I would be sacked and they wouldn't get any money and I put the phone down when he was still talking! They never phoned again.

Yuck! Everytime he comes in I'm checking his mouth to make sure he's not carrying anything!

I've just noticed Andy's picture is missing as well...

Hi, I had a call this evening also from Egg at 8.40pm. I saw the 0845 no on the display, and was ready for them! The guy on the end was REALLY polite. When I told him I was entering into an IVA he asked me if I could make £5 payment today, and accepted when I told him that if I did, it would not be fair on the other creditors. He told me I have 28 days and then my card will be in default and the matter will be passed to a debt collection agency. I gave him my IP's telephone number and he was satisfied with that. Funny how people on the end of the phone can differ so much. This was my first call (of many probably) and this time, did not need to be on the defensive immediately as I was! Kazzy x
