Hi all,
I am in the process of sending my letters to creditors. Does anyone know if sending one to your bank, whether you send it to the branch or the address on the statement?
Thanks in advance.

I snet our to the branch address on the statement. Most of our creditors denied sight of the letters anyway, but when they denied having got the letters I asked them to which address do you want me to send a copy of the letter too and then low and behold the next time they rang they had received both letters.
Good luck. X

Thanks all.
There are 2 or 3 addresses on all correspondence from these companies. It's difficult to determine which is the correct one. Thanks for the tip on recorded delivery though. Hadn't thought of that.
Cheers.

When I first applied for my IVA, my I.P. sent me a sample letter to send to all my creditors and it was very basic but to the point.
In each letter I enclosed a token payment of #163;1 by P.O. ( just in case my bank bounced any cheques) made out to them.
A couple of them tried to phone me to discuss the letter and then demanding monies etc and a couple denied ever receiving a letter. (funny that as when I checked my statements from the companies that denied ever receiving the token payment , the #163;1 P.O. had been cashed[:0])
There are all different depts within the companies and it takes a while for the communications to filter thru but in the end it reaches the correct dept as its in their interests to do so.
I personally wouldn't bother sending anything by recorded delivery as in my experience , its just added cost which you can avoid and doesn't necessarily mean it will arrive on the correct desk anyway.
I would just get proof of posting for each letter sent, that way its proves that you sent it without the extra costs.

I just sent mine by normal post, and I did not enclose any payments at all. I ignored all phone calls until my IVA was approved so I have no idea whether they received them or not!
I think a lot of them do deny receipt so they can try and get more money out of you,

I think our IP sent them out as well.
