I have had a contract with carphone warehouse for the last tweleve months, and ever since taking out the contract have had an ongoing dispute with them with regards to my monthly tariff. Now I have asked them to end my contract as the 12 months is up, they are asking for £476.00 saying this is outstanding on my account. Obviously I have not got that kind of money, any suggestions as to what I can do with regards to the IVA, can new debts be added or can I allow for this in my expenditure.

Are you currently in an IVA?? Dont think it would allow for new debt to be added, but you may be able to offer a very low payment per month to CPW. Best speak to your IP.

HI Hillsy
im not an expert and could have this wrong but i dont think you can add on a debt once your iva has been approved, if it hasnt been approved yet then i think you can. if you are in an iva i would speak to your IP.
