We have entered into an IVA arrangement to sort out our debts. I have been offered a good job in Australia and am aware that our UK IVA will not affect my immigration status but how does the UK part of things work, do creditors not mind that you live abroad as long as maintain your payments?? We intend to rent out our house so that would not be an issue hopefully.

As long as your payments are met and you keep intouch with your IP, there is nothing to stop you from moving abroad.

Hi melanie and welcome to the forum

Your IVA should not affect your immigration status, and there is no problem with continuing with the IVA from abroad, so long as you maintain payments and keep your IP advised of your whereabouts.

Good luck down under - I am very jealous!
