Its pretty normal to still recieve calls when your IVA is so new. It takes time for the acceptance to filter through the different departments.
Ask for the name of the caller and tell them you are going to report them for harassment. Have your IP keep contacting them to set them straight.
Point out that if they continue to harass you at work you will lose your job and they will get nothing.
Most call centre operatives are working on commission so will try anything to get money out of you.
Dont worry

HI Nicola
are your creditors aware that it has been accepted, i have readon here that it can take time for info to filter through but 30 calls a day seems excessive, maybe you could make a complaint i think ive read some posts on here where people have complained and the calls have stopped for a while.
good luck rb

The wheels of progress often take a little while to be amended within the banking systems - so just continue to send the mail to your IP and you will soon see that it naturally dies off. As for calls - try and remain polite, but if you have said the same thing on more than three occasions demand to speak to a supervisor or manager and ask them what steps they are going to take to stop the harrassment.

I suggest that you find your IVA on the government database
http://www.insolvency.gov.uk/eiir/IIRNa ... hMapIE.asp and then as soon as you get any more calls you can tell them where they can find it. Feel free to tell tham that having had your IVA approved (which incidentally they ought to know about) it is totally unreasonable for them to keep chasing you. Always be completely calm and polite with these people, hopefully that will keep yo ufrom getting too stressed.

Just have a standard reply ready - 'I am now in an IVA which was approved on 28th April. You cannot now ask me for any money as I am protected by law. If these calls continue I will be reporting you for harrassment.' I would try and get a name and then put the phone down.

We've been br since mid Feb and still receive demanding letters. The creditors have obviously got our new address from the insolvency register which clearly states we're br but they still send us letters requesting money and threatening us with door step collectors and court action.

10 months on I have one creditor's collection company writing to me every month - problem is I have changed my address and my old neighbours are now being passed the letters to hand to me! I have written to the company and collections company time and time again, as have my IVA company - at the end of the day they are tied into the IVA althoigh they chose not to vote - they can continue to add each month onto my bill, but at the end of the day, my IVA is a court decision with a court number and is a binding document - therefore tough they can't touch me!
