My dirty little baby has just brought Dave and I a big, fat, juicy earthworm and dropped it on my cream rug! I grabbed Harry (who wasn't best impressed) and Dave put the worm back in the garden. Harry's paws were filthy and he had dirt and grass around his mouth -revolting animal!
Obviously pond weed season is over, so earthworms are the next best thing! Does anyone know of another cat who isn't particularly interested in birds or fish, but loves pond weed and earthworms, or do I just have an oddball for a cat?!?! A loveable oddball though!

I'm glad he's not the only one! I'm resigned to the fact that no other cat is on the weed though!
Dave's theory is Harry's catching the worms to try and tempt the birds to make them easier to catch! There's one flaw in that theory - we don't have any birds in the living room!

Oh I thought Harry was a reformed character as we haven't heard from him in a while [:D]
Tiede once brought home a huge slow worm, which I thought was a big snake [:D] Latchford afraid of everything so no chance of him catching anything, unless he kills it by peeing on it of course [:I]

I still prefer cats - at least he takes himself for a walk!

I had a couple of cats many years ago - I used to take them for a walk!

I was going to buy Harry a harness and take him for walks, but Dave managed to convince me he wouldn't like it!
Harry will be going on his holidays at New Year though - we're going to Pagham for a few days and we're going to take him with us. Fingers crossed he travels as well this time as he's done in the past!

I didn't have a choice really. I lived on an extremely busy main road, and the flat I live in had gardens, so we used to go round there.

When I thought we might have to keep him in all the time (before I realised the pond owners love him!) I was seriously thinking of doing that - anything so that I could keep him!

My 2 exotic kittens have been poorly. They had really sore sticky eyes and snotty noses and did nothing but sneeze.
They have been to the vets and are now getting better thankfully.
Skip, harry is brilliant, he must really love dave and you with the unusual prezzies he brings home.
