I was just looking for advice/opinions from fellow dog owners about the best cleaning solution for doggy wee! My naughty little doggy today has decided my bed is the best place to have a wee this evening and upon discovering this late it has unfortunately soaked through the duvet and cover and onto my mattress, I have used some vanish upholstery cleaner but am paranoid I will not be able to remove the smell of her little "accident" from the mattress,... Just wondered if any other peeps had any advice on best products to clean such accidents up....?!

Hi Lisa, one thing to use is a solution of one part biological washing powder with four parts water, this should take away any smells and stains. I use biological for everything including washing their bedding.

Hi Lisa,

Try sprinkling bicarbonate of soda over the mattress, it should neutralise the smell.....worth a shot.

How old is your dog?

Lets hope she doesn't do a repeat performance Lisa [:)]

I have a 4 yr old who acts like a puppy so your dog can still push the boundaries at 6 [:D]
